£9K Loan! If your looking at spending 9K for example a new 07-08 vectra/astra/focus thats totally up to you. Just think, in a few years how much is that type of car going to be worth (probably peanuts) and how common will they be!

(each to their own an all that but..) if that was me i'd seriously re-think getting a loan of 9K for a car. The cars you were looking at around the 5K mark seem decent enough and wont take too long to pay off. If it was me, i'd probably stick to the ones you were looking at.

Dont want to get personal and tread on anyones toes as we're all individuals with different opinions etc etc etc. If you choose to get a loan for that much then fair play to you and im sure you will have a spankingly good car!

But how about for example the 2 car option....
You can pick up a decent skyline for around £3~4K
then probably 2K for insurance
Then you could still have the dosh to buy a decent estate/large hatch for your work, son and use as a daily driver.

Or you could still get an excellent car like what you were initially looking at. (Like an fairly new impreza estate, practical, performance, reliability etc all rolled into one!)

Dont want to offend in any at all way matey and your personal views, financial situation and view on cars is probably well different to me, i'd just advise you to seriously reconsider getting a large loan that will take years to pay off for a car that you might only keep for a couple of years.

All the best with car hunting buddy, ill keep posting in here and try to help you find the car you want!

;) ;) ;) :D :D :D

Nah buddy, i want ideas now i can get more mate, i aint spendin that sort of money on a Vauxhall etc...
