the main worry is your loosing cool air to your radiator in that location mate. other option would be to make up some brackets that come out from the bottom of the bumper and have the bottom of the plate in line with the bottom of the bumper. whatever you decide i wouldn't risk the cooling for where it is now.

i had thought about that but wasnt sure if it would make that much difference.
im gonna put it back to standard later and wait and see what i decide when i get money to smooth the bumper

If it dont scuff the ruff, it aint low enuff

taken the advice of JP and moved the plate back for the time being.
