De-Tangoing Fiesta Mk6 Front Indicators was created by Dave_P
I finally got round to de-tangoing the front indicators. Took a bit more time than expected as I could only find one pair of pliers. Oh well!
Procedure is this: Remove the headlamp assy, remove the indicator bulb, push tango filter off holder with fingers, grab with pliers and smash until it comes out the hole. Took me around 45 mins with all the smashing!
I think I need some silver coated bulbs, but the orange bulbs will have to do for now.
Smashed Tango:
How will I get these pieces out of THAT hole!?!
Anyway, after much smashing into little pieces they came out and voila:
Both sides done! Yipee!

Cheers Dan, it took some brute force to smash that tango, it's tougher than it looks!

Should have taken the lens off dude and painted them, that way you can get rid of the orange ring your left with. You need silvertec bulbs, i think even halfrauds sell them.

Yeah, this was meant to be just something quick. I didn't want to take the whole thing apart and have the possibility of fogging and condensation in the lamp assy.

Yeah it's a possibility, the orange ring is nothing compared to that horrid splat I just took out though! I'll pop and get some proper bulbs at the weekend.
