i dont get it! wats the big deal with these bonnet bra's wats the point in them? i see loads of VAGs with them n im jus wonderin wat do they do? or is it just a fad thing like them silly bits they sell in halfords

Totally agree. Can't see the point in them at all and think they look bit stupid

they do actually spoil air up on the windcreeen as well... stopped so much spray getting onto the screen...

Im the same, I dont get the point. "To protect the paintwork" but most people never even take it back off... so your saving the paintwork from being chipped etc, the paintwork we'll never see because the bonnet bra is always on! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="

Also for spray getting on the screen, thats what washer jets and wipers are for

i have mine to protect the paint from stone chips that and it looks areally cool,

lol

You acctully are ment to remove the bonnet every 7 days to clean the bonnet, as all the crap ends up underneath, which can screw your paint work up more than not having one...

also make sure when its on you put it onto a clean bonnet,

whist i clean my car i pop it on the radiator to dry off... buy the time im finished (normaly 4/5 hours later) its dry. lol
