cheaper insurance??

my 1.4 mk6 zetec climate, with mods claimed (coilovers, alloys, tinted lights, st side repeaters lol)
i was 20 when policy started with 1 year ncb and its about £1070 fully comp (and i think im covered for 13 months as well looking by the forms lol, as it goes from end of july to end of august i think
and its bonus, cos they have a landline number, you dont get raped phoning them on a mobile!

thats less than my lowest atm and i hav a smaller engine, but no ncb

tried them u hav 2 b 20, ive tried fckin evry1, evry company out ther and i cnt get insurance under 1600 quid on a 1.25 wiv mods, looks like it just ent ment to b

all depends on where you live postcode wise to whether how much insurance comes out at but just shop around as much as you can unfortunatly insurance is going up so its not going to be cheap really..

im with Admiral at the moment 21, 4 years ncb on the 200 with mods included and im paying £1200 full comp but i live in a pretty safe postcode.

honestly though i think £1600 wiv all mods declared is a good price if its your first car.
Soph on the astra will probs be looking nearer 2k with all the mods declared on it!

altho its taken ages i finally got decent insurance quote £1100 for the fez wiv tints alloys new lights front and rear lowering springs and an exhaust cat-back system wiv aviva doin it online wiv them saved me like 300 quid so now i can finally wack all these mods on over the next 2 months

im 20 and insurance is 1080 with brentacre mods declared. although mods are irrelevant, the premium stays the same up to a bhp limit. think its 110bhp at the fly is my limit on my policy... so could have a few serious engine mods and still be within that!

i use quinn and even with my basic mods they come up cheapest, i dont know how they are if you do to many mods to the engine though!

u hav to b 20 tho and i ent til september but i shall probly go wiv them next year
