I'm at the same dilemma with changing the turbo in mine as mines at the max now pushing 320bhp
Would love to plant a mk2 FRS in it but that's big bucks, but I suppose you get what you pay for in this world and 400bhp+ would be nice
Anyways great choice in motor and I can't wait to see it about

Thanks fella, I've still not spotted yours about yet
Just bugging Mark this week about it as I've been debating going for coilovers and roll bars instead of extra power. But sod it we're going for the extra power lol.

This is the plan anyway, once I've got the funds for most of it the work will commence. Hopefully by the end of June things will have started or be well under way.

Apologies, not been on forums much at all of late.
Well the engine started over heating... long story short the car has cost me £5k getting the engine totally rebuilt because the previous company who built it roughly 20k miles before did a bad job. The car now however is running at nearly 350bhp and pulls very well indeed. The new build has certainly improved the car loads, thanks to Mark at Thwaites Developments in Warwick.
Although on the downside I could do with selling it as I want my savings back and to just get a cheaper likely diesel motor.

Good luck with the sale though, shame you had to put that sort of money into it before it goes!

Yeah it sucks but at least the jobs been done properly now. I only bought it because of the engine build... I'd have been better off with a std motor and starting fresh. Without seeing inside the cylinders couldn't have possibly known of the issues.
