well, if u get an aftermarker induction kit- ull hav to take ur original air filter/box out and connect inducstion kit....once u get induction kit-u will see str8 away where to put it...and they usually come with instruction anyway. easy job.

You want an enclosed airfilter, not an open cone. Open cones experience heat soak (explained later)
ITG Maxogen - £300ish,
BMC CDA - £180ish,
Apiro DIAVOLO - £80ish,
Pipercross viper - £180ish.
Any of those, I assume its for your ZR?
The tubing that goes to an external point is called a Cold air feed (CAF) on a ZR you want to run it straight through between the frame and the radiator. It's a bit of a squeeze but it avoids running it over the manifold, which would make it suffer heat soak. Heat soak is where the induction air is heated causing the air to expand, thus you get less density of air per stroke in the engine = less power. You want the induction air to be as cold as you can, hence the COLD air feed.
And it also avoids cutting a hole in the frame to run it through to below the headlight.
You would then cut a hole in the bottom mesh and mount the funnel end of it to that.
I suspect you wont want to pay that much, so the next best option is to buy a pipercross or K&N panel filter (just a performance version of the filter you already have) and that will cost about £30.
