help please! exhaust manifold.....

if youve got a puma engine get a puma exhaust, the 14/1600 may well fit but the bore sizes on the 1700's outlet will be a fraction larger, fitting a smaller bore manifold will restrict the flow of gasses making your 4-2-1 pointless.
do not quote this bit as im not 100% i know the puma is based on the fiesta so the manifold from a puma should in theory be a direct fit to the fiesta's system best bet is have a trawl through the passion ford tech guides and look for similar projects, some of the biggest names in the ford scene post on passion ford so any advice you get off there will be the best you can get

well my original exhaust fits straight onto the downpipe off the puma engine so it should be fine

speaking from experiance from having a 1.7 puma, i was told by several people to get the Racing puma manifold, as its a 4-2-1 a-standard, failing that ud proberly be best speaking to the guys at pumabuild.
also with the racing puma exhaust it will fit on to your exhaust (may have to trim a small piece off if your going to go down the cat route, as the cat sits on the underside of the car and not as a manicat, so there are de-cat pipes available so its just a case of simply unbolting the cat and swapping it when it comes to mot time.
