i'd personally take the whole loom off the paxo including fusebox etc take as much out of it as you can and transfer it over, i would prolly think that new engine mounts would have to be made up aswell,
someone else will probably suggest a simplier method

seen that the other week and it shifts!!

ive seen a saxo dash in an ax but its a fair amount of work to do

im buying an ax and doing the vts conversion for a track car but it will probably be dashless with clocks so cant help you there

contact Rickyp_rpm he has a website, he has done several vtr/s conversions on these so should be a big help to you

I'm sorry, a 1600 16v lump with 130+bhp in an AX? <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_surprised.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o --> <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_surprised.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o -->

That must shift, but fair play has he a death wish?

As for a 1600 8v, I think that's a better choice as the torque will make for a better drive. You could also go for the 1400 8v from something like a 106 XSI would make for a good, cheaper and slightly easier conversion.

ther nice n easy conversions to do, you could do as ppl say and try n swap as much as possible then 4 the dash controls just cut both wires (old n new) n join them?
