HELP.. anyone good with fords..

I've found a 1.8 diesil turbo.. off the fiesta 1.8 tddi endura

will this manifold fit my 1.6 petrol??

nope as the manny will have a massive hole in it for where the turbo goes in, ya can plate the hole but its not worth it as it would be weaker then a non turbo one,
speak to racebits mate think he selling uprated manny's cheaply, if not give paul a ring

As Jon said, the manifold will be different.

Just as a point, the Endura series of Ford engines are largely unchanged from the old "Kent" series of years gone by. A bit of a pain!

nope no chance, there are turbo conversions available for your lump but i wouldnt recomend them as youl have to do alot of work new pistons rods brakes head gasket and the head will need modifying to change the compression ratio etc and it will more than likley go pop if your engines done alot of milage.
you want power get a 1.7 lump out of a puma and slap some throttle bodies on it ive driven a few there alot of fun. but i hope your a good driver if u go down said route as you maybe laffing to much to concentrate on driving <!-- s;-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s;-) -->

Yeah, just sort out the induction on the 1.6, a 1.7 conversion shouldn't cost too much, just in insurance.

hay n what the insurance dont know dont hurt them lmao im pretty sure its a straight swap same engine gearbox mounts etc the puma uses a shorter gear ratio so for now if want a bit more kick slap a puma box on it you will lose some top end but boi will it get there quick, mate of mines just done it n its a whole differant car to drive

In any case, to the OP - I'd just do the whole engine swap and use a huge turbo. Massive performance gain, the ability to literally smoke anyone behind you and 40mpg <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->
