Very reasonable prices there mate. I will PM you soon to arrange for you to do mine! Although just a thought - a friend of mine who used to run his own mobile valeting company (but had to sell up after the chemicals he came into contact day after day started to melt his hands - hence why he doesnt do mine for me!) charged slightly more for doing things like 4x4's...... There prob are no 4x4's on here, but thought I'd throw it out there just incase you hadnt thought of that!!

His hands didnt 'melt' as such, but they started to blister and peel. He was in contact with the detergents and chemicals 8 hours a day, 6 days a week for about 2 years...... I think it may have been some kind of allergic reaction or something, more than the stuff he was using, but Im not sure. The extra amount for the 4x4's seems very reasonable. And I like the idea of charging travel costs. Maybe you could do a 'buy the full valet and the travel costs are halved' deal or something (I know you've knocked £10 off the price of a full valet, but thought I'd throw it in there as well....). Do you use a pressure washer or just a hose? Do you provide those yourself? (because if you use a PW then Im stuffed as I dont own one....)
Also, just a thought..... If you're charging, and are looking at making some money from this, it may be worth looking at liability insurance. For the people on here, its probably not too much of an issue as you know them etc, but if you start to do the cars of people through 'word of mouth', the last thing you want to have to do is pay for a respray if you accidentally scratch paintwork etc. Im sure that you're better than that (for 'that', read 'me'), and are very careful, but it just popped into my head!

Np Andy, let me know
Meganeguy, some really useful suggestions, ill defo have to look into the liability insurance me tinks. Depends how serious it gets tbh if i only do you two guys its not really worth me getting it, but if im doing 2 a week...
I think i will be doing a visual check with the owners before starting work, pointing out any defects and probably get them to sign a document stating the defects prior to me doing the work.
Yep I've got a pressure washer/vacuum/huge extension cable/hose, all i need is somewhere to plug them in/attach them
