Sony Xplod MP3 CD powering 16cm pioneer comps (doors) and 15cm sony coaxials (rear shelf)
6 Disc Sony T69 (i think) CD changer
1500w Sony Xplod Amp powerng 2 x 12" Pioneer subs (300w rms) connected to a 1.6 farad capacitor
520w Pioneer amp powering 13cm coaxials (in boot lid) and 2 x JBL 16cm JBL components
Sony amp (320w I think) powering two 5x7 speakers (rear seat)
6 Disc Sony T69 (i think) CD changer

mines all standard at the mo....just a basic cd sub and amp...does the job, but in the future ill get it nicely done up with all pioneer!!

Astra has a Ripspeed motorised DVD touch screen head unit (its ok most of the time but was a waste of 400squid!!!!) standard front and rear door speakers and a 15inch sub with toxic amp.
The skyline has an xplod headunit standard front door speakers, rear 6x9's and a 10inch sub with power cap

i'd describe my set up as cheep and cheerful 
MP3 JVC Head unit
JVC 6x9s 280watt - parcel shelf
Juice 17cm Component speakers 210watt - doors
Twin Mutant 12" subs 800 watt each - boot
Fli amp - powering the sub

Set-ups sound good guys, am looking to make a custom build, but a very small one, two 8" subs, uprated front and rear speakers and then possibly 6x6 speakers built on to side of the custom bass box for a bit better quality, hopefully goin the JL Audio route, will hang out on ebay for the right stuff

Jon, are those ripspeed DVD head units actually any good? Are they relaible etc? They can be had pretty cheap now.
