Sara, usually it is easier to get a bluetooth aftermarket head unit, rather than using the existing module, also you won't be able to use the current mic.

argee .. u can pick up a bluetooth stereo quite cheap now

Sara, have you got the ford or sony HU? Also which model is it?

I'd suggest getting the sony version, but sometimes it can cost a bit more than a normal aftermarket jobby.

You not have a ipod/mp3 player then? use the auxilary port?

Eh??? What you mean. The auxiliary connection allows you to connect anything to it, i run my ipod through it, i can't control it so i use the controls on the Ipod.

if your just looking for a cheap bluetooth head unit LIDL were doin one its a silvercrest head unit with bluetooth,mp3,aux input,usb port,remote and all the rest of the usuall for bout £40 i think and the quality aint too bad either i got one for my mechanic for his daughters car and she really impressed with it really good quality.

Sara, if you go double din, go for a decent brand, IE kenwood,JVC,sony etc.

I bought a 2din unbranded from Fordfair last year, i was really disappointed with it and never fitted it... sold it at a loss aswell.
