Yeah definitely shaping up nicely! Alot of 'track' Saxos just have the interior stripped out, doing this one properly though!
I don't mind a Saxo really, some nice ones out there, just the fact that its a Citroen that bugs me - watch the wiring! <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

Seen your on saxp with this too.

Some proper machines on there. I went to the Ring this year with the saxp boys and seeing Saxo running 1.6 16v at 180-200 bhp and doing sub 9minutes makes you realise what the saxos can do when tuned well.

You seen the mango west coast on there? Carbon bonnet, roof and boot

I have briefly seen it yes, Haven't had a full read but it does appear to be quite a weapon!

Had a bit of time to play today, so took the front windows and the sunroof out so I can get them cut out of lexan. Gonna have to get my drill out to remove the window motors but I'm not in any rush! I am going to cut some ABS to cover the inside of the doors, so I am thinking of taking an angle grinder to the inside skin of the door first. I need to find out if I am allowed to do this though. Also thought I would take the wing mirrors off to see how much they weigh. I was quite surprised to find they are quite weighty, so they have also come off and I am going to look at getting some lighter ones and cutting a triangle piece of ABS to fill the gap!

Had a "trial fit" of the rear windows that have already been cut out of lexan. Fit like a glove!!

200bhp is possible with ITB's and a fair amount of work/ weight reduction
1.3 rallye and 1.4xsi (series 1) have the shortest gear box ratios (These capable of living with 200bhp standard apparently they tend to go wrong at 250+ when boosted though).
gti6 brakes and the 406 V6 (twin pots) brakes will go under 15 inch wheels iirc (Pro race 1.2's) although they shouldnt get hot enough on hill climbs so a gti disk pad setup should be plenty
id also look at gettin a larger master cylinder either 106 gti or 306 4port should fit too if you're serious about running that sort of bhp...

bargain at £200 though tidy too, no rust under the fuse box or ecu?? :)

P.S got a twin fan setup and gti anti roll bars layin about if you're interested.
