Astra H 1.6 turbo. was created by astrasonly
Hello everyone. Making a start on my progress thread. Brought the car in may 2012 with 46,000 miles on the clock. Running 180 PHP standard. Just drove it around for 6 months or so before the modifiying started. First thing done was to colour code my engine bay with the new Vauxhall colour grasshopper green. The camcover, and fuse cover got a good coating of the colour. At the same time a upper turbo hose was fitted with a bailey dump valve. The following weekend with the spare paint I had got dropped on the calipers.

Got a vxr intercooler. Fitted it and came across problems. Modifiyed it and refitted it removed it after 3 attempts gave up. Still got it though having to change loads of parts. Need air con pipes now. Got more of an angle on them, had to change the condenser to vxr one. Just problem after problem. Getting a straight through exhaust soon.

Just fitted a boost gauge on the A piler. Gauge works well, but got it off eBay. Found it to be colour changing wanted just blue. Never said in the description that it changed colour so want my dollar back. Will post picture soon.

Ah gutting about the problems
Surely with the colour changing gauge there will be a setting somewhere to make it stick to a certain colour, maybe a trigger wire? Discreet button?
