Andyfloss wrote: Looks great mate. The springs do the car a world of difference. What other plans are on the horizon? I take it youve had it mapped up?
Thanks. Yeah springs finish it off nicely.
It's not mapped nah, going straight for stage 2+ (just shy of 400bhp) bits it's mega bucks.
Need a High pressure fuel pump (with all the gaskets and gubbins) is best part of 1k
Uprated clutch and flywheel another 1k plus fitting
Few other pricey bits I want aswell but we'll get there

Before I did tho I debadged the 'Cupra' off the boot lid and fitted my Forge DV hose

Then I dug my new brakes out

So Forge 6pots with 356mm floating bells and rotors

After having AP Racing 4 pots on the Ibiza I couldn't not have big brakes

Think wheel change might be on the cards too

Only down side is the calipers are black so I've had to order brand new S3 vented rear calipers and carriers in black from TRW in Germany.
I've managed to get them brand new along with Brembo discs, brake pads and ATF Racing blue fluid cheaper than I've seen second hand ones sell for

Just gotta wait 2-3weeks for delivery.

Then couldn't resist getting a wheel off to see if they cleared the spokes

Good news they did

Can't believe they cleared and by a fair bit.
Want to get them fitted but not sure weather to wait for the S3 rear and flush the system.

Andyfloss wrote: Yes! they look awesome!. What would you change the wheels to. Are they 17's or 18's as standard
Thanks

18s standard, think team dynamics 1.2s in the dark grey or Bola B1's

Anyway I managed to bag a free jet wash that was apparently leaking water from everywhere lol.
So got it home and tried it out, was leaking from the hose connection at the base of the jetwash
Quick inspection found the o ring missing, so put a new yellow hose connector on and that solved that leak.

Started using it and water was pissing out the handle of the lance?! Took that part to find it had was held together with filler and insulation tape

So now need a new lance and hose. Want to get a snow foam kit aswell anyone got any recommendations?
After that lifted the bonnet on the car and decided to do something about the mouldy sound proofing.
Took it off

Attack it with a stiff brush

Had a can of this kicking around

First coat

Couple of coats and drying on the line

Oops

Dried and back on

Catch can seems to be doing its job
