MG ZT 1.8t

does anyone know of any modified MG ZT 1.8, any pics my brother has one looking for ideas

Got a standard kit anyway so not alot apart from smoothin it out and tidying it up. Get him to concentrate on the engine

yer thats what i thought, maybe new mesh on the grills too lol... its havin a new turbo which should be here tomoz so me and the old man going to fit it saturday

Shame them engines are as Weak as anythink!

its only a 1.8vvc Bottom end adapted to run turbo!
Any Kind of power increase is a disaster waiting to happen!
The inner walls are what the problem are.. they just seam Go bang when Any kind of Boost is sent thru them!

Best bet is to change it for a 2.0
Then you can let the fun begin

otherwiseee .. rebuild the engine in the 1.8 with betta pistons and shizzle.. then u can start playin with it!


but if your gonna play with the engine as current

Before You even thnk about puttin that Bigger turbo onit!.. get a bigger Front mount intercooler, As the standard ones are tiny! And only just about cool the boost pressure down before hittin the engine!
So new intercooler.. and hard pipin Easily obtained off ebay - Put a Dumpy on it.. As the standard 1.8 Turbo's Turbo is only a GT15.. Tiny lil thing! and it wont chatter very well!
need a GT28 off a Pulsar/200sx onit

And tbh thats about all! as more will require New engine rebuild as ur need to up the boost!
